How to use Rexa Pilot

01 Getting started

Install Rexa & open the sidebar

Rexa lives in a side panel that opens on any page in one click — no copy-pasting between tabs.

1. 1Add Rexa to Chrome from the Web Store and pin it to your toolbar.
2. 2Open any web page, then click the Rexa icon (or use the side-panel shortcut) to dock the sidebar.
3. 3Sign in with Google once — no credit card. Pick your language in Settings and you're ready.

• Set a keyboard shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts for instant access.
• The sidebar follows you across tabs and reads whatever page you're on.

02 Page chat

Chat with any page

Ask questions about the article, dashboard, thread or doc you're viewing — Rexa reads the page for context, so you never paste anything.

1. 1Open the sidebar on the page you want to ask about.
2. 2Type your question in the composer — e.g. “What's the refund policy here?”
3. 3Rexa answers grounded in the page, and you can keep asking follow-ups in the same thread.

• Use the ✦ Summarize action for a one-tap TL;DR of long pages.
• Switch reply language anytime from the language pill.

03 Knowledge Base

Chat with your documents

Upload PDFs, slides and docs into folders, then ask across them and get answers with inline citations back to the exact file and page.

1. 1Open the Library from the composer's book icon and create folders.
2. 2Drag in files — or import straight from Google Drive and Notion — and Rexa indexes them privately.
3. 3Hit “Chat with this folder” and ask. Answers cite the source file and page as [1], [2]…

• Scanned PDFs and images are OCR'd automatically.
• Right-click any page and choose “Save to Rexa KB” to clip it in.
• Scope a chat to one folder or specific files for sharper answers.

04 Live web

Search the live web, with sources

Get current, grounded answers with numbered citations you can click and verify — not stale guesses.

1. 1Toggle the globe icon in the composer to enable live web search.
2. 2Ask anything time-sensitive — news, prices, docs, launches.
3. 3Click the [n] chips in the answer to open each source.

• Great for research — Rexa blends page context, your docs and the web.

05 Voice

Talk to Rexa with live voice calls

Start a real-time voice conversation — optionally share your screen — and the whole transcript is saved back to your chat for later.

1. 1Tap the phone icon to open the call panel, choose Voice or Voice + screen.
2. 2Allow microphone access once, then just speak — Rexa replies out loud.
3. 3End the call and the conversation is saved into your normal chat history.

• Turn on “Answer from my Knowledge Base” to ground the call in your files.
• Use headphones for the cleanest audio.

Record meetings with live notes

Record Google Meet, Teams and Zoom calls with a live, speaker-labeled transcript — then get a clean summary and action items the moment the call ends.

1. 1Join a Meet, Teams or Zoom call and click ● Record meeting on the page.
2. 2Watch the transcript build live with speaker labels as people talk.
3. 3Stop the recording to get a summary, decisions and action items — saved to your history.

• Find every past meeting in the side panel and on the web app at rexapilot.com/app.
• The mixed audio is saved too, so you can replay anything.

07 Replies

Write instant replies anywhere

A ✦ AI reply button appears inside Gmail, Slack, LinkedIn, Outlook, X and Reddit. Get three drafts to choose from, in your saved brand voice, with your product recommended only where it genuinely fits.

1. 1Open a message or composer on a supported platform and click ✦ AI reply.
2. 2Pick from three variants, or set tone, length, brand voice and a product to mention.
3. 3Tweak the draft, then insert and send — never leaving the page.

• Choose a Brand voice + Product from the picker to stay on-message.
• Rewrites and tone changes keep your draft; only fresh replies pull in the product.

Compose posts & threads in one click

An ✦ AI post button sits next to the composer on X, LinkedIn and Reddit. Turn an idea into a platform-perfect post — character limits, thread splits, Reddit markdown — that reads human, not like an ad.

1. 1On X, LinkedIn or Reddit, click ✦ AI post next to the post box.
2. 2Type your idea, pick a brand voice, toggle a thread or hashtags, and generate.
3. 3Each tweet shows a live character count — copy or insert straight into the composer.

• Reddit posts follow community norms and stay value-first, never promotional.
• Threads are split to fit 280 characters automatically.

Store brand voices (tone, audience, do's and don'ts, a writing sample) and products (link, one-liner, words to avoid). They power every reply and post, so everything sounds like you.

• Add several voices (personal, company, a client) and switch per post.

Hand tasks to the do-it-for-me agent

Give Rexa a goal and watch it navigate, click and fill forms in your real tab — narrating each step and confirming before anything important.

1. 1Open the agent from the header robot icon and describe your goal.
2. 2Watch it perceive the page and act step by step, in your logged-in tab.
3. 3Approve the confirmation prompt before it submits, pays, or sends.

• It grounds personal details in your profile and Knowledge Base.
• You can stop or take over at any moment.

Find conversations to engage

Tell Rexa what you care about and it scans Reddit and the web for fresh threads worth replying to — ranked by relevance and whether your product fits, each with a suggested angle.

1. 1Open Discover in the side panel and add a topic — your category, a competitor or a pain point.
2. 2Browse ranked threads with intent, a fit score and a one-line angle.
3. 3Hit Open & reply to jump in — the AI reply button is waiting on the page.

• Rexa checks your topics in the background and badges the toolbar when new threads appear.
• Pick a product per topic to score how well it fits each thread.
